SafeDAO to Airdrop 50 Million SAFE Tokens

Ahead of the launch of SafeDAO, Gnosis Safe will airdrop 50 million SAFE tokens to over 45,000 eligible Ethereum addresses.

The list of eligible addresses contains those users who created addresses before February 9, 2022, i.e. before the proposal to initiate SafeDAO. The company will send SAFE to just over half of those addresses, amounting to at least 400 tokens in total.

The goal of the airdrop is to raise awareness of SafeDAO, reward active users, and decentralize the DAO governance.

Gnosis Safe is a service for storing Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, and interacting with DApps. It is based on a multi-signature wallet, which requires the signature of more than one person in order to conduct transactions. Last month, it rebranded after spinning off from the Gnosis ecosystem.
