Serenity Shield, the decentralized application platform offering an innovative, revolutionary approach to cryptocurrency inheritance and secure storage solutions for sensitive data, has today announced a partnership with the technology group Archethic.

As part of the agreement, Serenity Shield will integrate StrongBox into Archethic’s public blockchain as well as use Archethic’s Decentralized Identify (DID) management solution to provide extra layer 1 security to users.

What’s in for users?

Established in 2021, Serenity Shield seeks to offer solutions in identifying the need for secure access to and transfer of ownership of digital wallets in case of calamities like death. Leveraging the advances in cryptography and private blockchain technology, Serenity Shield has designed a secure, non-custodial method to store and retrieve sensitive data for individuals but also corporates and institutions through its product, the StrongBox Solution.

Integrating with Archethic blockchain will offer additional decentralization, speed, scalability, environmental friendliness and security to Serenity Shield’s existing solution. In addition, the partnership will also strengthen Serenity Shield’s cross-chain and interoperability capabilities.

Integrating Archethic’s DID technology within Serenity Shield’s StrongBox is a huge step in Serenity Shield’s objective of offering entirely decentralized and independent solutions to customers.

Commenting about the partnership, the co-founder of Serenity Shield, Rodolphe Seynat, said:

“We are thrilled to go deeper and extend our partnership with Archethic. Archethic’s mission and values are aligned with those of Serenity Shield around digital and human rights: we mutually defend the idea that identity is not just about ownership, but about control and freedom. We look forward to working with them.”
