The cryptocurrency market is on the cusp of another bull run, with investors rushing to position themselves in hopes of becoming rich by the end of the cycle, potentially even a millionaire or a billionaire.

No asset class offers such opportunities more than meme coins, despite their risks. During the last crypto bull market, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu turned out to be two of the top-performing cryptocurrencies, generating significant returns for early buyers.

As the market prepares for skyrocketing meme coin prices once again, the official Shiba Inu magazine – The Shib – has published the story of a trader who may have pulled the greatest trade in the history of cryptocurrencies.

This anonymous trader invested $8,000 into Shiba Inu in August 2020 – an investment that skyrocketed to $5.7 billion in October 2021. This represents an increase in value of 71 million percent – a profit that most investors can only dream of.

$8000 to $5.7 Billion With Shiba Inu – The Perfect Investment?

Every crypto investor hopes to make the perfect investment – buying a crypto gem right when it launches and selling it at its all-time high. However, this anonymous trader may actually have pulled it off.

Shiba Inu was launched in August of 2020 by a pseudonymous developer Ryoshi. The token launched with an initial price of $0.00000000109, data from CoinMarketCap reveals. According to The Shib, this is around the same time when our anonymous trader purchased $8,000 worth of Shiba Inu, which turned out to be the investment of a lifetime.

Shiba Inu reached its all-time high of $0.000086 in October of 2021, which is when his investment was valued at $5.7 billion. The trader’s Etherscan activity reveals that he or she distributed their holdings into several different wallets in November 2021, indicating that they sold their tokens near SHIB’s top.

This trader still holds 200 billion SHIB tokens, which are currently worth close to $2 million. This could indicate that the early buyer believes that the second-largest meme coin still has ways to go before it is done.

Indeed, other crypto analysts believe that $SHIB could potentially flip Dogecoin during this crypto bull market to become the largest meme coin, especially due to the bullish impact of Shibarium – the layer-2 network of the Shiba Inu blockchain.

Other Successful Meme Coin Trades

The meme coin space is filled with stories of successful once-in-a-lifetime investments that made small-scale investors unbelievably rich.

For instance, a pseudonymous trader “Dimethyltryptamine.eth” invested merely $251 into Pepe coin, which ended up valuing over $13 million just two weeks later. Another early Pepe buyer, who invested just $36 half an hour after the frog-based meme coin started trading, ended up selling his holdings for $1.74 million, realizing a gain of 54,725x.

Another investor not only made $2 million on Pepe, but close to $400k on HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu.

Could Meme Kombat Offer The Next 10x Opportunity?

Investors generating over 1000% profits on their meme coin investments typically buy a token early. Currently, crypto whales are rushing to purchase an innovative new meme token – Meme Kombat, with exciting play-to-earn, staking and GambleFi attributes.

A crypto whale recently purchased $100k worth of $MK, which indicates a robust demand for the new meme coin. Another deep-pocketed investor – who is also the admin of the Crypto Whale Pumps channel on Telegram – made a sizable investment into the token. As a result of such financial endorsements , Meme Kombat has raised $3 million in its ICO in just over two months.

Meme Kombat is launching its own Web3 gaming and gambling platform in which 11 fictional characters will battle each other through AI-simulation. Each of these characters represent a popular meme coin such as Doge, Shiba, Pepe, Floki, etc.

The outcome of the battles will remain unpredictable and will be decided on-chain using random sequencing. This allows players to pick their favorite characters and bet on them in various gaming modes such as player vs player, player vs game and direct betting.

$MK holders can also choose to stake their tokens and reap passive income starting from the presale itself, currently at an APY of 290%. They also have the option to allocate a portion of their staked tokens directly towards betting, as per their risk tolerance.

The Meme Kombat project is also committed towards transparency and security, quelling any fears of scams and rug pulls. The project realized that meme coins with anonymous developer teams often create hesitancy in the minds of investors. To combat this, the identity of all team members behind the project has been revealed, including its founder Matt Whiteman.

The token’s smart contract has also been audited by Coinsult, which did not reveal any vulnerabilities or centralization risk.
