35,000 Land plots for LEASH holders

The immersive Metaverse for the Shiba Inu ecosystem is set to launch the first batch of the plots in a 10-day ‘land event’, the platform revealed. In these ten days, holders of the Leash token will a chance to be the first to buy 35,000 SHIB lands.

Holders of other tokens in the SHIB ecosystem will then have an opportunity to own some of the highly anticipated lands. According to the developers, the rest of the plots in the metaverse will be available in staggered batches and will be open to everyone in the growing Shiba Inu community (SHIB, BONE, and LEASH)

Users to lock tokens before bidding

To access the lands, users will be required to lock their tokens. The size of the plot one will bid on will depend on the number of locked tokens. Also importantly, the lock period will reduce based on the total number of locked tokens.

For instance, a user who locks 0.2 Leash will have a chance to buy a 1×1 plot. Meanwhile, a user will increase that to a 10×10 piece of land by locking 5 Leash tokens.

Users need LEASH to access the viewing and bidding. However, finalizing the purchase will happen via ETH, the native token on the Ethereum network.

SHIB price rose nearly 10% on Wednesday after the news, while LEASH jumped more than 13%.
