Singaporean company Circle Internet Pte, Ltd, in collaboration with Circle Internet Financial LLC (Circle), has recently obtained a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). This license allows Circle to provide various digital payment token services, including domestic and cross-border money transfers within the city, through its range of products and services. The license grants institutional customers access to USDC tokens through Circle. USDC, also known as the digital dollar, is a stablecoin that remains accessible 24/7 and operates at internet speed.
