The L1 blockchain project “Injective” announced on the 30th that it has released its rollup solution “Cascade” to the public testnet.
Cascade is a rollup solution for the virtual machine (SVM: Sealevel Virtual Machine) of the crypto asset (virtual currency) Solana (SOL). It is developed for “IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol)”, which is the communication standard of Cosmos (ATOM). By building Solana apps on Cascade, developers will be able to connect seamlessly with the Cosmos ecosystem.

Future Plans
The Cascade launch will proceed in several stages. According to the announcement, in the testnet beta, Eclipse will operate the sequencer for the SVMs on the network.
The sequencer is responsible for receiving transactions from the Solana wallet and generating blocks. He explains that the ultimate goal is to make sequencer operation injective and free participation.
The company also plans to introduce Celestia in the data availability layer in the future.
