Starbucks to Unveil the Company’s Web3 Initiative

Starbucks will be joining the list of high-profile brands that are moving toward Web3 adoption. Namely, the company will launch its first Web3-based initiative on September 13, as part of Investor Day happening in Seattle.

Web3 solutions will become a part of Starbucks’ rewards program. Digital collectibles and “one-of-a-kind experiences” are promised to loyal customers.

Apart from serving as a reward program, the initiative will also seek to expand the existing community of Starbucks fans. According to Howard Schultz, the CEO of Starbucks, the initiative will introduce new ways to emotionally engage the customers.

In addition, Schultz stated that this is just the beginning of Starbucks’ reinvention plan, which is likely to include more Web3 projects.
