Startail Lab, known for the development of Astar Network, announced on June 28 that it will raise about 500 million yen in seed round funding from Sony Network Communications. The two companies will conclude a share allotment contract accompanying a third-party allotment of shares, and Jun Watanabe, president and CEO of Sony Network Communications, will be newly appointed as a director of Startale Labs.
