Sui Blockchain Mainnet Launches New Listing of Tokens

Sui mainnet goes live

The Sui Foundation announced on the 3rd that the mainnet of the new high-speed L1 blockchain “Sui Network (SUI)” has started operation.

Sui (Sui Network) is a Layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform developed by Mysten Labs. The project was started by engineers who worked on Diem (formerly Libra) on the former Facebook (now Meta).

It is designed to spread to 1 billion users who will participate in the future, and the number of transactions processed per second (TPS) is300,000 (theoretical speed)It is characterized by its high processing capability.

With horizontally scalable processing power and storage that can be quickly adapted by adding new resources, Sui supports applications and services that require high availability and performance. It also provides a platform for creators and developers to build user-friendly experiences.

Since the launch of the Sui testnet in November 2022, an innovative community of founders, developers and users has come together on Sui. Sui’s Discord channel has now become one of the largest channels in the web3 community with over 750,000 members and continues to grow.

The SUI token will be listed on major exchanges such as Binance, OKX and Kuoin on the night of March Japan time.

Sui (Sui Network)’s native token “SUI” will be used for gas payments, in-app assets, staking and governance. In April, three overseas crypto asset (virtual currency) exchanges, Kucoin, Bybit, and OKX, each conducted IEOs (Initial Exchange Offerings) for SUI tokens.

According to the community account Sui Gems, the main products of the Sui ecosystem include the domain name service “SuiNS”, the wallet “Ethos Wallet”, and the gaming and NFT market “Clutchy”.
