Tether’s USDT stablecoin is now available on the Near Network. This makes Near the eleventh blockchain, including Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon, with support for USDT.
According to Tether’s representative, its stablecoin’s launch on the dApp blockchain network should further drive the company’s ongoing expansion in the world of decentralized finance. Accelerating scalability for traders and alleviating some of the market volatility are additional benefits of the launch.
The future seems to be bright for the Near Network, as well. In July, it announced that it had reached 700 projects built on its network, and this month, it launched a $100 million venture capital fund aimed at Web3 projects. In addition, the NEARCON conference is currently being held in Lisbon.
