Features of Mantle
A major feature of Mantle is that it is a modular Ethereum L2 network. “Modular” means that parts can be combined to form a network.
In the blockchain area, attention to modularity has been increasing recently. It is a structure that separates functions without performing transactions execution, data storage, and consensus building in one network.
Mantle is configured by combining an execution layer that utilizes rollup and a data storage layer. For rollup, we are trying to support both Optimistic Rollup and zkRollup. This structure improves Ethereum’s scalability, speeds up processing, and lowers fees.
