Tokenized collections platform Americana announced on July 21st its “Concierge Vault” service, building an on-chain solution to the space problem of storing luxury collections.

The new service will allow collectors to store their precious collections in air-conditioned vaults and leverage a blockchain-powered asset management system. The website says the service authenticates luxury collections and coordinates transportation to high-security facilities.

It says it caters to vintage cars, limited-edition sneakers, fine art, fine china, and “everything like them.”

Those wishing to be stored in Americana will need to consult with our team to develop a custom acceptance plan. Upon completion of a rigorous appraisal and acceptance process, each property will be issued a unique digital appraisal.

Through the website, users can showcase their collections, list items and accept offers.

The company raised $6.9 million in seed funding in May 2022, backed by Seven Seven Six, a VC launched by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, and OpenSea, a major NFT marketplace.

We also sell a membership NFT “Something Token” that gives early access to beta services. The 9,500 NFTs prepared were sold out, and the price was 0.069 ETH (about $ 130 at the time). At the time of writing, the floor price has fallen to 0.015 ETH (around $28).

Americana CEO Jake Frey previously founded a design studio specializing in digital products and has worked with Apple, Snapchat, Shopify and Twitter. The press release says it was created to remove the friction associated with buying, selling and storing high-end collectibles.

“At Americana, we add digital luxury to physical objects.By bridging the gap, we bring the excitement and convenience of the digital world to our physical collections.By merging the best of both worlds, we deliver an even more elevated experience.”

First, it will allow selected creators, including contemporary artists Dustin Yellin, Danny Cole and Tom Sachs, to offer verified collector’s items. The platform is open to all collectors, regardless of membership NFT holdings.

Americana will also ensure secondary royalties are handled, differentiating itself from competitors who have recently reduced their secondary royalties.

In February, the metaverse platform “Decentraland” held the second “Metaverse Fashion Week” as a movement related to NFT. Digital fashion by Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, etc. was introduced.

In June, the Web3 fashion platform “SYKY” launched a one-year incubator program “SYKY Collective” to nurture the next generation of digital designers.
