“TOKYO XR Metaverse & Content Business World” is about to be held, business stage speakers announced

Bringing together content, technology, local government, education fields, etc.

On the 22nd, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the XR/Metaverse Industry Exhibition 2024 Executive Committee announced the details of the “TOKYO XR/Metaverse & Content Business World” event, and at the same time began accepting visitors. Admission to this event is free, but registration is required.

“TOKYO XR Metaverse & Content Business World” brings together small and medium-sized enterprises, individual business owners (creators, etc.) and various organizations active both domestically and internationally. Companies and experts from technology fields such as blockchain, NFT, DAO, AI, and related devices and systems, as well as fields related to XR and Metaverse, are scheduled to participate.

It also provides an opportunity for businesses and creators from content-related industries, such as anime, manga, character design, games, video, music, live streaming, and event production, to gather, interact, and explore new innovations. It is expected that this will happen.

This event will be held as the first hybrid format that combines real and online events, with the aim of revitalizing the XR (cross reality), metaverse (virtual space), and related content industries. The online event will be held on a special site from January 19th to 31st, and the real event will be held at Tokyo Big Sight South Halls 3 and 4 from January 26th to 28th.

Business stage speaker announcement

On the business stage, XR/metaverse-related experts, local government officials, young entrepreneurs, educators, and others will be on stage, and talk sessions and seminars are planned.

One of the sessions related to Web3 will be held from 17:10 on January 26th, where economic activities after the spread of XR and the Metaverse will be discussed. Takahito Kagami, representative director of Coin Post Co., Ltd., will be on stage as a panelist, speaking with Toshi Morioka (moderator) of the Technical Directors Association (general incorporated association) and Yuki Shichiku, representative employee of Cryptoya LLC.
