According to the release, TSM will use Avalanche’s subnet to build Blitz and host Avalanche-named tournaments. “Performance insights and learning tools help gamers improve their skills, and players can even compete for cash prizes in Blitz Arena.”
“Avalanche’s fully customizable subnets offer sub-second transaction speeds, scalability, and security that organizations like TSM can leverage,” said John Wu, president of Ava Labs, the company behind the Avalanche blockchain. It was built to help expand the possibilities of gaming for millions of users.”
The partnership between TSM and Avalanche aims to bring millions of esports gamers to Web3. Previously, TSM had entered into a partnership with crypto exchange FTX, which went bankrupt in November. The $210 million partnership with FTX was said to be the largest in esports history at the time.
