As for how the ETH/BTC pair works, CME Ethereum Futures Final Settlement Price is divided by CME Bitcoin Futures Final Settlement Price to determine its value.

“Historically, ETH and BTC have been highly correlated, but as the two assets grow over time, their price movements may differ,” said Giovanni Vicioso, global head of cryptocurrency products at CME Group. “There will be opportunities for relative value trading,” he said.

CME currently offers Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) futures and options trading.
