Warner Music Group (Nasdaq: WMG), a leading U.S. music entertainment company, today announced that it has selected two projects, MITH and Muus Collective, as the inaugural winners of its innovative Web3 Music Accelerator Program. did.

The program aims to promote the next generation of innovation combining music and Web3, and was launched last June by Polygon Labs and WMG, the developers behind Polygon Network.

MITH is the world’s first fan engagement platform that aims to address the fragmentation of the fan experience by providing artists with dynamic community tools.

The platform features features such as product sales, distribution, forums, membership, purchasing, POAP (NFT Participation Certificate), and rewards and incentive benefits based on community participation. Additionally, powered by AI, it provides insights and analytics from artist-owned first-party audience data to provide a comprehensive profile (360° view) of each fan.

They have formed partnerships with American rapper Jack Harlow, British actress Emilia Clarke, and American actress Halle Berry, and released a pilot album with Jack Harlow, “Private Garden,” in December 2023.

Muus Collective in partnership with REVOLVE

Muus Collective, on the other hand, is a project that provides a gamified virtual environment that fuses music and fashion, building a fashion-centric experience that combines elements of mobile gaming, entertainment, and digital collectibles.

The platform brings together a community of style lovers, features digital collectibles, and offers rewards to participants. The first fashion game, scheduled to launch in Q2 2024, is being developed in partnership with REVOLVE, a fashion retailer targeting Millennials and Gen Z.

Muus Collective was founded by photographer Sarah Fuchs and Amber Payer, who has experience directing major e-commerce brands including Nike and Bottega Veneta. The advisory board includes Paris Hilton and actor and gamer Felicia Day.

Evaluation criteria include strengthening relationships between artists and fans, establishing a decentralized system for music production and distribution, innovation in ticket sales, developing music-related products and digital and physical collectibles, and integrating music and technology. Winners will receive mentorship, strategic advice, networking, marketing and promotional support, as well as blockchain-related benefits from the Polygon x WMG Developer Support Cohort.

In December, Warner Music Group announced a partnership with Polygon Labs and NFT music platform LGND.io, and revealed plans to launch a music platform called LGND Music in January 2023. LGND Music is designed to tokenize music and give users full ownership.
