WhaleStats platform, providing the data on top 100 largest whales on various platforms, revealed via twitter post that some of the largest investors on the Ethereum blockchain have recently acquired various altcoins that include ApeCoin (APE), FTX Token (FTX), Fantom (FTM), Sandbox (SAND) & Chainlink (LINK) accounting the total acquiring of $22.1 million.
Whales frequent targets have always been around Shiba Inu, FTT, LINK along with FTM but two coins, APE & SAND have entered the list recently.
Whales acquisition stands at 2,100,000 SAND, 485,000 LINK, 195,029 APE & 3,383,731 FTM. The top 10 purchased digital currencies list over the last 24hrs include APE, FTX & FTM, along with MATIC, WBTC, MKR, and dollar-pegged stablecoins USDT and USDC.
APE – The Most Traded ERC – 20 Token !
For the hundred largest Ethereum whales, the most traded ERC-20 token over the last 24hrs has been APE. At the time of purchase, whales have acquired 600,000 ApeCoins that approximately stands at $8.2 million at the time of purchase. Interestingly Time Magazine looks forward to accepting APE as a mode of payment from its subscribers.
On the other hand, FTT holds the second position on the top 10 crypto holdings list after Ethereum. FTT remains the coin with the largest US dollar value for these investors.
Largest Ethereum Wallets Hold $1.2 billion SHIB
As per WhaleStats data mentioned in its website, the top 100 ETH whales still own a massive amount of Shiba Inu coins, the worth being $1,255,643,849. This accounts for 53,591,286,769,099 SHIB and 14.14% of their portfolios.
Hold on, the SHIB acquisition is not the highest. The amount of FTT that these whales have acquired is slightly higher, $1,678,414,524 FTT.
