The recent legal win of Ripple against the SEC has sent ripples across the industry. Esteemed crypto analyst AJ predicts that this victory would be a massive game-changer for XRP’s price.

A Victory for All Cryptos

AJ commends XRP for this groundbreaking victory, stating that the lawsuit’s resolution not only frees XRP from the shackles of the SEC but also paves the way for other cryptocurrencies. Following the verdict, XRP was reinstated on major exchanges like Binance US and Coinbase, signifying its legal status as a non-security.

AJ further elaborates that the ruling distinguishes between institutional sales and retail buying. The former, involving direct sales to investors, VCs, and institutions, were deemed to meet the Howey Test’s investment contract standard. However, programmatic sales, or retail buying from exchanges, do not qualify as securities, providing reassurance to retail investors.

The Road to a $25 XRP

While XRP’s legal triumph provides immense optimism, AJ digs deep into the price predictions, focusing on the potential of XRP in the next bull run. XRP, launched in 2012, operates on the XRP Ledger Consensus Protocol. With a total supply of 100 billion coins, XRP’s circulation stands at about 53% as of now.

Every month, a billion XRP is released from an escrow account as part of a planned roll-out over 55 months. However, most of the billion returns to a different escrow account. Despite the somewhat opaque nature of XRP’s tokenomics, AJ firmly believes in the currency’s potential.

He estimates that by November 2025, approximately 5.84 billion new coins will be added to the supply, based on an average of 209 million coins added monthly since 2018. With this projected circulation, AJ forecasts that if XRP can regain its all-time high market cap of over $130 billion, its price could surge to around $2.23.

Despite this being a long journey, AJ remains optimistic, bolstered by the recent legal victory. With these points taken into account, the expert predicts that XRP could witness a dramatic increase to $25, offering a huge return potential for investors.
