World coin price soaring
Worldcoin, an AI/virtual currency project launched by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and others, has soared. Speculation seems to have increased after OpenAI announced an AI that generates videos.
World Coin (WLD) temporarily fell due to the Sam Altman dismissal scandal, but rebounded once the controversy ended. The price has soared 127% compared to the previous week, and is hovering around $5.9 (approximately 890 yen) at the time of writing.
On the 16th, OpenAI, which developed the AI (artificial intelligence) ChatGPT, announced “Sora”, a tool that automatically creates high-quality videos from text prompts. The quality of the sample movies, such as a woman walking around the city and a fictional movie trailer, was higher than expected, suggesting that the project was designed with a view to a real-world general-purpose simulator and was in the process of a grand concept.
Prompt: “A stylish woman walks down a Tokyo street filled with warm glowing neon and animated city signage. she wears a black leather jacket, a long red dress, and black boots, and carries a black purse. she wears sunglasses and red lipstick. she walks confidently and casually.… pic.twitter.com/cjIdgYFaWq

It has not yet been released as a product, and its safety is currently being verified from the perspectives of the possibility of it being used in fake videos, misinformation, and hateful content.
The maximum length of videos that can be created is 60 seconds. Based on the text entered by the user, it is possible to create detailed scene descriptions, complex camera movements, and to have multiple characters appear.
For example, the following example posted on
The text also specifies clothing, the behavior of “walking casually and confidently,'' and the presence of wet roads and large numbers of pedestrians walking around.
Although no official release date has been set, OpenAI plans to make Sora available to aspiring filmmakers in the future.

In this era of rising AI (artificial intelligence), the aim is to provide basic income to people around the world through virtual currency. It uses a device called the Orb to scan a person's iris and give them a biometrics-based personal identification ID.

According to the official website, there have been approximately 3.44 million World ID registrations so far. Users with a World ID can periodically request free distribution of the virtual currency WLD on the World app.
WorldCoin released a security audit report in July last year. This comes after European authorities, including France and Germany, expressed concerns about WorldCoin from the perspective of protecting user data.

Also, earlier this year, on February 13th, we published an article about World Coin's data security practices. It explains that all images used to create an iris code will be automatically deleted by default.
This includes restricting access to the orb's hardware, and when an individual uses a World ID, zero-knowledge proofs prevent third parties from obtaining that person's World ID public key or tracking it across apps. Also mentioned.
What is zero knowledge proof?
A type of proof protocol, a mechanism in which the prover proves that a claim is true without disclosing any information other than that the prover's claim is true to the verifier. For example, it is possible to prove that a transaction is not fraudulent without disclosing the details of the transaction, such as the sender, recipient, amount of money, etc., to a third party.
