Worldcoin’s WLD token saw an 88% rise in value to $3.14 after listing on different cryptocurrency exchanges, as Sam Altman’s “orbing” project expanded its international rollout, attracting two million users during its beta period. The beta is interested in signing up for a World ID through an iris scan via Worldcoin’s “orb.” The token’s fully diluted valuation is said to be around $27bn. The project aims to provide a universal basic income for every person in the world by distributing $10 worth of WLD to those with a World ID.
